Q. Is a prescription required?
A. Yes! We require a prescription for all medications
that are prescription only in USA or internationally. Just like
your local pharmacy, we require a valid prescription from a
physician licensed to practice in your area of residence.
Q. How long will it take for me to receive my prescriptions
by mail? A. Please allow up to 2-3
business days to process your prescriptions in our pharmacy
once we have your completed patient profile and your VALID prescriptions.
Once shipped, postal service times generally range from 5 to
8 business days. If you do not receive your order after 14 business
days, please call us toll free at 1.866.799.3435 - Use Discount Code 7500 for your tracking
number.
Q. Can you fill prescriptions from American doctors?
A. Yes we can, once a Canadian doctor has reviewed
your "patient chart" and approved the prescription under his/her
Canadian license.
Q. Can you fill/ship prescriptions to countries outside
of Canada or USA?
A. Yes we can, we are one of the very few companies
that can provide prescription services for international clients.
Please contact us at questions@ExpressMedsCanada.com for more details.
Q. Can you fill/ship veterinarian (pets/livestock)
prescriptions?
A. Yes we can, we are also one of the very
few companies that can provide veterinarian prescription services.
The patient ordering guide and prescription are
still required by Canadian law, to be submitted and verified
by us.
Q. How much money will I save?
A. Most patients save 40-90%, which can be
hundreds of dollars per order.
Q. Why are your prescription prices so low?
A.The first reason is the cheap Canadian dollar,
for example $100 USD buys roughly $140 in Canadian goods. The
second reason is price controls. The Canadian government limits
how much pharmaceutical manufacturers can charge for brand name
drugs when they are approved and caps subsequent price increases.
Q. Is there a limit on how much I can buy?
A. Yes, you may purchase only a maximum of
a 3 month supply of each of your medications. Provided that
you have a valid prescription for that supply of medication.
If your physician writes a prescription for more than 3 months
supply, then we can fill those refills as they come due.
Q. Why can't I buy Valium, Tylenol #3 or similar medications
from your pharmacy?
A. We legally cannot ship any narcotic or controlled
substances across the border. We also will not sell and habit
forming medications.
Q. Will you accept my insurance?
A. You need to consult with your insurance company
on purchasing medications outside the country. We will provide
you with a proper receipt for insurance purposes. Your insurance
company may or may not accept our receipts.
Q. How do I pay for my order?
A. We accept American Express, Visa and MasterCard.
We also accept PayPal, money orders and cashier's checks.
Q. How does the quality of Canadian medications compare
to American medications?
A. The Canadian government has very strict requirements
for the manufacturing are very similar to the requirements in
the US. Some of the drugs sold in Canada are actually manufactured
in the US and are repackaged for sale in Canada. Generic medications
are all manufactured in Canada under Canada's stringent requirements.
Q. Why do some drugs have different names in Canada?
A. These are trade or brand names registered by the
manufacturer. In different countries, manufacturers will often
use different trade names. The medications have the same active
ingredients, but may look different and have a different trade
name. (For example Prilosec (US) and Losec (Canada), or Augmentin
(US) and Clavulin (Canada)).
Q. Are all drugs available in Canada?
A. No, we do not have all medications that are available
in other parts of the world. We do have the majority of medications
available in Canada.
Q. If I don't see my prescription medication on your
price list, does that mean you don't carry it?
A.No. If you do not see the drug that you are looking
for, please call us toll free @ 1.866.799.3435 - Use Discount Code 7500 or e-mail us
at questions@ExpressMedsCanada.com for prices.
Q. Do I get charged a shipping charge for each prescription?
A. No. The shipping charge is for each shipment only.
Q. Are all drugs less expensive in Canada?
A. No. The majority are less expensive, but there are
exceptions.
